We inform you that, starting in 2026, the following periods will be removed from the PED calendar:
- Evaluate PED Project (Evaluation Committee)
- Input of Resource by the Unit
- PED Project Resource Assessment (Evaluation Committee)
The approval of the student's project will now be defined directly by the supervisor, within the already foreseen period of Advisor acceptanceThis is even happening now in 2H25 for new entrants to the PED.
This change was made with the aim of making critical periods longer, seeking to minimize recurring problems, such as coinciding with teachers' vacations.
We have attached the updated calendar. Please note that the revised version is now available on both the PRPG website and Google Calendar.
- From the 1st semester of 2024, for the student to be entitled to Travel Assistance, the supervisor or the Unit's secretary must make the request in Siga, with justification and approval from the Teaching Internship Program (PED) Coordinator. After approval, the corresponding field will be available during the Attendance Attestation period, so that the supervisor can report how many grants were used in the month.
- Criteria for receiving Travel Assistance: students from the Campinas campus who will work as PED on other campuses, such as FT, FCA and FOP, and students from other campuses who will carry out the PED in Campinas.
- In the calendar period PED – Insert Student After DeadlineStudents who missed their PED registration for any reason will have the opportunity to register and will automatically be placed on the waiting list for the unit where they registered. Students who had previously registered and were rejected at a unit will not be able to register again during this period.
