CAPES Assessment

Performance and Highlights

As part of the national graduate system, Unicamp has its programs stricto sensu evaluated periodically by CAPES. In the period 2019-2022, the Quadrennial Assessment 2017-2020 took place, in which the University had an excellent performance. Of the 83 Graduate Programs evaluated, 31% had their grades increased.

The hallmark of Unicamp's postgraduate system is its excellence: in the current table of preliminary grades, more than 45% of the total number of Programs were considered programs of excellence, with grades 6 and 7. Added to the Programs with grade 5, very qualified, 80% of the postgraduate system deserves attention and puts Unicamp's postgraduate courses in evidence on the national scene.
