Six postdoctoral positions are available at Institute of Computing (IC) within the scope of the Postdoctoral Researcher Program (PPPD) from Unicamp. Registration is open until November 14th.
PPPD Unicamp's main objectives are to facilitate research and teaching activities for young doctors, providing improvement in their careers and deepening in scientific research. Furthermore, it seeks to strengthen the university's scientific production and human resources training, in line with inclusion goals, which aim to increase racial diversity in the Brazilian academic scenario.
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to develop a full-time research project in one of the following areas: Computer Theory, Information Engineering ou Computer Systems. In addition, they must teach classes in specific undergraduate subjects for at least 8 hours per week, as detailed in the edict.
Interested parties should send an email entitled “PPPD Scholarship” to the email address eaip@ic.unicamp.br, containing the following documents: registration application, identification document, doctoral diploma, updated CV, post-doctoral project, teaching activity plan and formal declaration of not having any employment relationship or scholarship from another state or private funding agency .
The notice offers a total of six PPPD scholarships, one of which is intended exclusively for black, brown or indigenous candidates (PPI). Each PPPD scholarship has a gross monthly value of R$11.258,54, with income tax discount, resulting in a net value of R$9.047,40. The duration of the scholarship is 12 months, with the possibility of renewal for another 12 months.
