The Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH) at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) receives applications until November 7, 2023 for a postdoctoral opportunity with a grant from the Postdoctoral Researcher Program at (PPPD) UNICAMP.
The PPPD aims to attract and retain new doctors for the development of scientific research activities, as well as carrying out teaching activities for young doctors to improve their careers and deepen the scientific work and training of university students.
The vacancy is available in the Demography area. The PPPD scholarship aims to provide full support for the development and execution of a Post-Doctoral Project. This project must comprise both research in the area of Demography and a plan of teaching activities, with a minimum of 8 (eight) hours per week dedicated to teaching activities. These teaching activities will be conducted in the following undergraduate subjects: HZ339 B – Education and Demographic Issues and HZ431 B – Research Methodology and Techniques I.
Registration will be open from October 9th and will close at 23:59pm (Brasília time) on November 7th, 2023. Candidates must send an email to demogr@unicamp.br with documents that include the registration application, identification document, doctoral degree, updated CV, post-doctoral project, teaching activity plan and formal declaration of not having any employment relationship or scholarship from another state or private funding agency.

Interested parties, Brazilians and foreigners, must meet the following requirements for registration: have obtained a Doctorate degree less than 10 years ago, not have an employment relationship or scholarship from another state or private funding agency while joining the program. The selected candidate will receive a PPPD scholarship with a gross monthly value of R$ 11.258,54, with a net value of R$ 9.047,40 after income tax deduction, and lasting 12 months, renewable for another 12 months.
