The Dean of Postgraduate Studies (PRPG), of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), announces the opening of applications for the Scholarship Program for professional internships and postgraduate studies in Italy 2025, promoted by International Italian-Latin American Organization (IILA), in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). Registration is open from May 31 to September 30, 2024.
Program Details
The scholarships include specialization or updating internships (“lato sensu” postgraduate studies) in Italy in 2025, lasting 3 to 6 months. Each scholarship holder will receive a monthly allowance of EUR 1.500,00 for food and accommodation, as well as insurance against illness, accidents and civil liability. Expenses for airline tickets and documentation for staying in Italy will be the responsibility of the scholarship holders or their home institutions. The stay in Italy must be completed by January 31, 2026.

- Agrifoods and Food Technologies
- Environmental Sustainability and Renewable Energy
- Life Sciences and Biotechnology
- Space Sciences and Technologies
- Conservation, Guardianship and Restoration of Cultural Heritage
Requirements
To apply, interested parties must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of one of the Latin American countries that are members of IILA.
- Be at most 35 years old (in the case of candidates with children, the age limit is extended by 1 year for each child, up to a maximum of 3 years).
- Have a university degree and proven experience in the area of interest.
- Present a work, research or course project compatible with the duration of the scholarship.
- Have a letter of acceptance from the receiving institution.
- Get involved in activities related to the scholarship theme with public, private institutions or Latin American NGOs.
- Basic knowledge of Italian is desirable.
