The Postgraduate Program in Dental Radiology (PPG-RO) of the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba/Unicamp received a visit from two representatives of Morita Japan.: Takumi Yamamoto, Deputy General Manager, International Sales & Marketing (Head of Department), and Fujio Zushi, Section Manager, International Sales & Marketing.
During the visit, the coordinator of the PPG-RO, Prof. Dr. Matheus L. Oliveira, gave an institutional presentation of the program, highlighting its objectives and the main pillars that guide its research, teaching, and outreach activities.
Next, doctoral candidate Matheus Sampaio-Oliveira presented an overview of recent studies developed and published by the group, addressing the program's main research areas and the scientific advances achieved.
The program also included a tour The tour of the campus begins at the Radiology Clinic, continues through the Integrated Clinic, and ends at the Clinical Center, allowing visitors to get a close look at the institution's infrastructure and activities.
At the end of the visit, a meeting was held with the director of FOP/Unicamp, Professor Dr. Karina Gonzales Silverio, and with faculty members of the PPG-RO — Professors Drs. Francisco Haiter-Neto, Deborah Queiroz de Freitas, and Anne Oenning — in which The feasibility of the school acquiring Morita brand equipment was discussed., internationally recognized for its quality and technological innovation.
