FAPESP Agency – The Graduate Program in Architecture, Technology and the City (PPGATC) of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism of the State University of Campinas (FEC-Unicamp) receives, until August 25th, registrations for the master's and doctoral courses .
The PPGATC seeks to expand the proposition, development and deepening of interfaces between areas such as applied social sciences, engineering, arts and other relevant fields of knowledge that converge for theoretical-conceptual reflection and for the improvement of technologies, methods and practices of interest to architecture and urbanism.
A total of 55 vacancies are available, distributed in three lines of research: “Architecture: fundamentals, methodology and design” (25 vacancies); “Technology in architecture and urbanism” (16 vacancies); and “City: planning and urban design” (14 vacancies).
Applicants must generate an application form online at Unicamp website. In the online registration form, it is mandatory to fill in the Research Line and Area of Interest fields, in this case informing the code of the theme of interest.
Then, they must present the following documents upon registration: letter of intent, registration form, a recent 3×4 photo with good resolution, copies of the diploma, graduation transcript, and personal identification document, link to updated Lattes curriculum, two letters of recommendation, certificate of proficiency in English, copy of transcript and diploma or master's certificate for doctoral and research project candidates.
The selection process will be divided into four phases, consisting of evaluation of documents, evaluation of the research project, test of specific knowledge and questioning and orientation meeting of candidates.
The approved list will be published in the program page, on December 14. The registration period will be between the 5th and 7th of February 2024.
